4 Years and Still Going
My 4th year loc anniversary is June 2008. My locs have been doing very well. At this point, I find myself just letting them been most of the time. I am not the overcautious mommy I use to be. I am still using the JML products. However, their ingredients have changed, so I am in the process of monitoring my locs to see the changes, if any. So for, I don't think I am getting the same amount of moisture I was getting with the old ingredients. I have recently made a homemade spritz with carrot/aloe oil, grapeseed oil, vitamin e oil and tea tree oil. I spray this on my locs at night. I will keep tabs on the results. My locs are now just about bra length. I change loc styles as I go. Sometimes, I roll them up, sometimes, I do an updo and other times I just let them be. I am still so very excited that I decided to loc. This is the best thing I could have ever done to my hair, especially coming from a hair weave queen, crochet hair or braid queen status. My natural hair is beautiful and I can do whatever I want with it. I am not afraid of water or rain and I love the wind. I don't miss perming my hair one bit. So to all you locers out there, more hair and blessings.

One of my main problem is the lint and the white speckles. Ugh! Hopefully this month, I can really concentrate on taking better care of my locks. Thanks for sharing about the moisturizer treatment.
